The National Guard Readiness Center consisted of a 52,000 square
foot structural steel building that sat upon auger cast piles and
clad with blast resistant concrete panels for exterior walls.
Faced with the challenge of preparing the site for the 890th
Engineering Battalion Addison Construction, Inc. was faced with
processing over 18,000 cubic yards of barrow material along with
crushed concrete base under 61,000 square foot of concrete paving.
