Howard Industries is a leading manufacturer of electrical distribution equipment used by electric utility companies and by commercial and industrial companies worldwide. This major civil works project involved extensive clearing, earthwork, grading and concrete work.
Within a three month period, Addison cleared the 72-acre site of its natural timber stand and and completed the earthwork and grading of 425,000 cubic yards of on-site and borrowed dirt material. To accomplish this, the team moved over 2,000 cubic yards of earth per day.
The Howard Industries project also included domestic water, fire water, sanitary sewer and storm drainage. The project was finished off with 320,000 square feet of concrete paving and a 1,000 foot long concrete wall that extended as high as 18 feet.
